Liberty CMC Thumb Immobilizer


Provides comfortable immobilization of the thumb CMC and MP joints. Made of lightweight, ultra-thin polypropylene. Latex free. Ideal for treating arthritis, or following dislocations, fractures or sprains. Also protects gamekeepers and skier's thumb. Immobilizes the thumb CMC and MP joints. Trim with scissors or use a heat gun to flare edges. Includes a stockinette liner. Replacement liners sold separately.

To size, measure circumference at the wrist crease
  • Small: Up to 6½" (Up to 17cm)
  • Medium: 6½" to 7½" (17 to 19cm)

Was very UNcomfortable at the beginning until I found the sore spots and customized it to fit. I also discarded the liner that came with it and bought some moleskin from the drug store and cut it to fit and with the self sticking feature I placed it on the inside and now I have a custom fitted, very secure, rigid and comfortable thumb immobilizer that really does seems to work. My pain has greatly reduced in just a couple of weeks. If you do not have the time or ability to make the modifications necessary this device probably will not work and you might be better off with a softer more flexable device.
