The Drew® 14478 FLASH VELCRO® Women’s Athletic Shoe has a great-looking athletic style that incorporates every comfort feature from our regular line. This shoe offers two adjustable Velcro® straps that hold the foot firmly in place as well as make it easy to put on and take off. It’s one of the industry’s only athletic shoes with added depth and double added depth in one shoe that accommodates prescribed orthotics. It features Drew’s new Plus Fitting System® with two removable footbeds. Both inserts can be kept in the shoe for Added Depth, or the lower insert can be removed to create a shoe with Double the Added Depth. These inserts, Pre-molded Polyurethane and EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) with Drilex® covering, equalize pressure over the foot’s full walking surface providing shock-absorption for maximum foot protection and comfort while reducing pain caused by pressure points and excess friction. Another great advantage is that the supplied inserts can be removed and replaced with Custom Orthotics. FLASH VELCRO® has a firm heel counter that hugs the heel and has mesh vamps and quarter linings that comfort the foot while Drilex® linings wick away moisture and help prevent bacteria growth. A specially designed wide rocker bottom automatically “rocks” the foot forward during walking which increases mobility. Padded to the max, along with a rubber outsole makes FLASH VELCRO® ideal for all-day walking comfort. It offers superior performance materials in a great-looking athletic shoe and is available in White/Baby Blue, White/Pink, Black/Grey, White/White colors with Lace up or Velcro® closures.
