As a primary barrier against irritation from bodily fluids and as a protective barrier against the adhesives of wound dressings and surgical tapes. Other uses include...

Prevention of tape allergy
Pros:
Safe.
Lightweight.
Sturdy.
Easy Storage.
Drys faster than the cream form, causes the adheasive tape to become very sticky. Prevents adheasive tape from causing a rash but does not prevent the itching from the tape allergy.

To protect skin under ostomy appliance. Use No sting 3M then sprinkle stoma adhesive powder on the area and then dab no sting 3M on top of powder to provide a protective layer on skin.
Also for diaper rash or yeasty rash use no sting 3M then sprinkle nystatin powder than dab no sting 3M on top of powder to protect skin and treat yeast.

Excellent product. An absolute must to prevent maceration of tissue (and bad odor) surrounding wound on a wound vac. I have also used this product in the hospital on incontinent patients.

 Do you have the no sting Barrier film in ointment. Or something like it that will do about the same for a cheaper price. My mom is on a very limited budget but needs this product. Medicare will not pay for it.
