Nu-Hope Hernia / Ostomy Support Belts
Nu-Hope belts are made of a blend if polyester and elastic. They feature an opening reinforced with a durable plastic ring for 360 degrees of wafer and pouch support. Each belt secures with a sturdy Velcro® type closure that is adjustable to get the perfect fit. Whether you have a hernia or want to avoid one, Nu-hope has the right belt for you. Nu-Form™ belts are a comfortable binder that allows the elastic to form more naturally around bulges and other body shapes. Nu-Form™ belt rings are sturdy and will not lose shape. The Original Flat Panel Nu-Support Belt is recommended for hernia prevention and / or pouch support. Features no-stretch control, a plastic support panel and 6" Velcro® adjustment.

 Does the size of the pouch opening have to match the size of the belt's flange exactly? The belt's flange is 2 3/8 inches, but the pouch's opening is 2 3/4 inches. Do both sizes have to match exactly?

Does the urostomy bag fit on the outside of the belt? I don't understand how it works.

The bag slips through the plastic ring and the ring is centered around the wafer flange. Important to get the correct size ring to fit closely around outside of flange. The bag then is accessible without undoing the belt.

Standard belt widths are 3"-9". Belts wider than 9" can be custom ordered in whole inch increments.
