We use this Stoma powder to seal a raw sore and protect it from moisture on his bottom. Having to use Depends it is effective to help keep the sore dry and to heal.

I have a continent ostomy the BCIR and I use the Ampatch over my stoma area. I was having skin issues because I am allergic to anything like Band-Aids of any kind and a friend of mine who also has the BCIR said try the Premium Powder by Hollister and it works fantastic! I am so pleased with it I keep extra bottles to take with me and one is always in my purse. Just a little covering and it keeps my skin healthy. It is so easy to use and not messy like some powders. Give it a try you will see what I mean if you have any area that has to stay covered for any length of time or if you have skin issues from the coverings it protects your skin.
