Miralax has helped my young daughter who suffered from chronic constipation since birth. Then I started using it with my elderly client -- great success as well. Easy to give. Only warning is to not overdo it, because you can cause very messing bowel movements that can be embarrasing to the patient because they can't always be controlled.
