the cost of this item is reasonable, considering that the foam is not firm enough and the cover is made from flimsy material. The size and shape are appropriate.

This was my first coccyx cushion, and I learned that it pays to pay for quality. This is a cheap, thin, soft cushion, so it flattens almost totally when you sit on it, thus it doesn't provide much if any relief for the tailbone. I tried using it at home and in the car -- neither were comfortable. I am an average size person, so I suspect this might be a good choice only if the user is extremely lightweight (a child or very small adult). I also purchased a memory foam cushion and it is MUCH better.

I tried a "donut pillow" for my discomfort in sitting. That didn't work at all. But the moment I sat on the coccyx pillow, the relief was immediate.

I bought two of these for office and home to help me support lower back; I have had others that just wore out. This one is awful, doesn't stay in place on any of the chairs I am using. I would return but don't even want to spend time and money doing so.
