Budget Buyer.
I used my mom's heating pad for years until our house burned down. I loved it because she made an extra cover with padding on it and we washed that instead of wearing out the original cover. You guys might want to think of using a double pad.
The heating pad at the Medical Supply Store was 3 times the price of this one.

 I am looking for a heating pad that has the heating element stitched into the cover, rather than having a soft cover that slips over a (usually white) plastic piece that heats up. I find that plastic part so uncomfortable, and it's typically very cheaply made even though the heating pad is still expensive. Does anyone know if this pad is the former, or the latter? Can anyone recommend a really good heating pad that doesn't have the cheap white plastic part? Thanks!
