Mik-Key Bolus Extension Sets
To complement the KIMBERLY-CLARK MIC-KEY Low-Profile Feeding Tube, a variety of feeding accessories and lengths are available for the continuous or bolus delivery of nutrients and medications. Each features the SECUR-LOK* connection mechanism to minimize feeding set disconnects. In addition, each set allows for complete range of motion by allowing the Extension Set to rotate within the MIC-KEY* feeding port during movement. Non-sterile.

I like this length of tubing for the evey day bolus feeds it sure saves my back. the only bad thing I have found is that after several months of use it is very hard to clean. And of course the price.

Work good for Mic Key G-Tub
Pros:
Lightweight.
Cons:
Flimsy.

They work good for medication and jevity but they should be made as one piece not two because after cleaning about 30 times they come apart. The top part comes off the hose. Sometimes will come apart during use and then it gets what you are administering all over the place. You would think that they could make it a one piece unit.

These tubes don't last very long. I took one out of the package (new) and during the second use, it started leaking from under the blue top part. I used it for a few more days holding a paper towel on it to collect the mess, before I gave up and had to trash it. My insurance only pays for one a month too! This one lasted 3 days!!!!! Now I'm online searching for some to purchase, but don't have the money to replace or buy some "extra's" for emergencies. This is crazy!!! How will my daughter get fed if I have no tubes????

I agree with the last review! I have had to change my son after his food sprayed everywhere when the tube broke! To top it off, insurance only allows for 1 replacement per month. I am lucky if the tube lasts 2 weeks.

I am giving serious consideration to getting the G-tube "button" to replace my standard feeding tube, which I have had for six weeks. The procedure is scheduled for 8-17-11 and I have to let them know by Monday 8-15-11 (if I am going to do it), so I would really appreciate an answer to my questions ASAP. I am using a gravity bag to feed with (I really like using the gravity bag system because it allows me to be on the computer or watch TV, etc.). I am in remission (I pray) from both tongue cancer and kidney cancer. I can no longer swallow without aspirating into my lungs(causing pneumonia).So I now have the feeding tube. My doctor has told me that some of the negatives regarding the "button" are that it sometimes has to be replaced every three months and that the connections from the gravity bag to the extension set and to the button come apart while feeding. I am using a supplement called Nutren 2.0 (500 calories) and it is a little thick. My dietitian has suggested that if I get the button (Kimberly Clark) that I should use a Kimberly Clark extension set #0123-12 because it "looks like " it will allow the thick supplement to pass through with no problem. The extension set will be attached to my (Kendall/Kangaroo 1000ml Large Bore Gravity Set--Ref.#702505). Will I have the problems that my doctor mentioned and do you have any helpful suggestions.

Sorry to answer just now,as I just googled this page. You will love the Mickey button as my son has it for four years. I feed him anything I cook thru it with no problems, gravity feedig or bouls feedings
