PIR Alarm is the first truly hassle-free alarm. There are no senor pads, pull-cord, or clips to fumble with to cause inconvenient false alarms. Just set the alarm at bedside or over the bed and the infrared beam will monitor for every movement. Used at bedside, the PIR Alarm lets you know if a patient is trying to get out of bed. As soon as a hand, foot, or head crosses through the PIR's invisible beam, the alarm triggers - making the staff aware the patient is in need of assistance. For the highest risk patients, mount the alarm over the head of the bed for the earliest warning of patient's rising. This early warning system is great for the ICU or anywhere early detection is crucial.

Alarm unit emits a fan-shaped beam that runs raallel to the bedside (in Bedside Model) or parallel to the bed's surface (in Over-the-Bed Model). This invisible "curtain of protection" offers a greater area of coverage than sensor pads or pull-cord alarms, without the false alarms associated with normal repositioning.

The PIR unit has both alarm and chime settings. When activated, unit will sound for 30 seconds before automatically resetting (60 seconds in chime mode).

Bedside Model conveniently mounts to bed rail, allowing patient to move freely in bed. Adjustable mount features a sturdy Sure-Lock magnet that quickly and easily locks the unit to the metal bed frame. Transmitter head swivels for precise beam alignment.

Over-the-Bed Model monitors for first signs of movement and is ideal for highest-risk patients-even the ICU. Unit can be wall-mounted or attached to the head of bed. Includes swivel screw mount. Uses 9V battery, sold seperately. 85 dB.
