The Knee CryoCuff by AirCast. Cold therapy with the AirCast CryoCuff combines compression and cold: compression minimizes swelling, while cold minimizes pain. Unit consists of water cooler and Cuffs made for specific body parts. Cooler holds enough ice and water for 8 hours of cryotherapy. Compression is gravity controlled. Cuffs are made of nylon and vinyl.

aircast cyrocuff with cooler - knee


I used this product after having a tibial plateau fx with insertion of two pins. As a result of using the iced water around my knee I had no residual swelling post surgery and still to this day. It was so convenient to use ! No trips to the freezer to refill a melted ice pack with fresh ice cubes. Not only did it help reduce post op swelling it helped decrease the amount of pain. The only thing that is not great is the price. My husband loaned it to his friend who was having knee surgery and unfortunately he did not return it so i must purchase a new one because my husband is having both knees replaced in July. The end results are so great that the price will be overlooked because of the effectiveness of the product. I got to have this ! I think I will get one for my back pain too !

Question:
First knee due to be replaced in ten days and have heard over the fence that this is a effective and convenient way to control there post surgical swelling and related swelling discomfort. Looking for personal experience review comments.
