Biofreeze Gel - 4 oz Tube
Menthol, 3.5%; Camphor, 0.2%

Biofreeze is used for the temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with arthritis pain, backache, tendinitis, sore muscles and more. It contains ILEX, an herbal extract from South America and is used around the world in various health & wellness formulations. As a topical analgesic it does not use waxes, oils, aloe or petroleum. I have used Biofreeze on my back and on a painful shoulder. It is effective and gives relief quickly. The odor is not unpleasant as other siimilar products is. The rollerball applicator is easiest to use.

Only one caution. If you use your hands, you do not want to rub your eyes, as it penetrates into the skin. Great on arthritic hands, and back, shoulder or neck pains. Great musculoskeletal product. I have used in my practice for several years.

Biofreeze is the only muscle ache remedy that stays with you and really feels like it is doing its job. I use it for my frozen shoulder pain before and after PT. It is minty smelling rather than menthol smelling. It feels cool for hours after application. The gel is the best. It goes on without staining and smoothes in instead of staying on top like others that get on your clothing. I won't buy anything else for my muscle aches.
