The Biofreeze Colorless Formula is a colorless (dye-free) Biofreeze option. Some customers prefer products without color or dye and we want all customers to experience the pain relieving power of Biofreeze. The new and improved Biofreeze formula contains more natural ingredients and uses 4% natural menthol, as opposed to 3.5%. This formula applies to Biofreeze Roll-Ons and Gels. The botanicals added were selected because of their reported functions and their connection to the use and format of Biofreeze Pain Reliever. The new formula gel is smoother and slightly thicker so it does not “ball” up as it is dispensed, making it easier to apply. Biofreeze Pain Reliever delivers targeted pain relief with the benefits of cryotherapy to treat athletic and muscle related injuries, sore or strained muscles, shoulder and arm discomfort, neck, hip and leg pain, back pain, painful joints, ankle or foot pain, and pain associated with bruising, and arthritis.

Great product for back pains

Pros:
feels like ice on skin. odorless and non-staining.
Best Uses:
apply to painful muscles.

I rub this on the area where I am feeling pain. The pain disappears within minutes (because the nerves become numb). One application provides relief for over an hour.
