The chillow stays cool most of the night. The only thing I do not like about it is that it is flat....you have to put it on top of your regular pillow.

This is a very good product. I love the coolness. The only think I would change is to make the valve where you put the water more flush with the pillow because it can leak if you toss and turn.

Was skeptical about this product and how well it would work, but most owner reviews seemed great so I purchased one. I love my Chillow ...I find it helps me sleep almost through the night by keeping my body tempature down. Those evening hot flashes that would wake me up are now gone or if I do get one because I've rolled off my Chillow...as soon as I roll back on it I am able to doze back to sleep.

I purchased two of these for my husband who is constantly hot and sweats at night during all seasons. He uses one in his pillow and one under his back. I heard about this product from both my grandmother and my father who love theirs. My husband just started using his and is already impressed.
Our bedroom seems to always be the warmest room in the house so despite our central air my husband also put a small window ac unit in the bedroom. As you can imagine our electric bill is very high. I foresee a lower electric bill in my near future. Although on very hot nights he still uses the small ac unit however the fan is put on low and at a higher temperature. And I'm enjoying this very much because I have a tendency to get cold.
Kudos to this company for this product. It keeps you cool, it's simple to use, does not use electricity or energy and is great for couples whose preferred temperatures of comfort differ.

Great to quickly reduce body temperature. The regular version of the Chillow stays on the pillow well. It's really heavy though and I find that unpleasant when trying to move the pillow. Otherwise, it's great.

i sleep with this to help to alleviate my hot flashes which are very severe. I was hoping that it would eliminate them buy sleeping on the cold pillow. it did not, so when the hot flash comes, I arrange myself on the pillow and it does cool me down. i am looking for the magic bullet and whiel this has helped somewhat it has not eliminated them

I live in a summer hot climate. I have MS and suffer greatly from an unrelenting hot and sweaty head and face. I tried this "chillow." Problem is, after you fill it with water (and remember, water is heavy), you put it under your pillowcase. When I "watered" mine, I positioned it inside the pillowcase the way I wanted it and it never stayed. I like to sit up in bed and read; the chillow slides down under the pillowcase. If I was lying down flat, it still didn't stay where I put it under the pillowcase. It's heavy and it's not soft. I was hoping for something that would work for me and keep my head cool. This did not. I might as well use ice packs. I will be returning the product, but I have to wait till the spongy inside dries out so that I'm not paying to mail (heavy) water!! A huge disappointment.
