Covaderm Plus® V.A.D. Vascular Access Dressing
4 x 4" - 2 x 2" pad


The unique design makes it an ideal dressing for covering and protecting all intravenous sites. Consists of three layers: a laminate of a non-adherent layer and an absorbent pad to absorb excess moisture; a polyurethane film which allows moisture vapor to escape; and a flexible, non-woven tape to anchor the dressing in place.

Convaderm Plus VAD Features:

  • Patented multi-layer barrier dressing
  • Addresses problems associated with covering vascular access sites
  • Special “v-cut” tape secures catheter extension tubing and prevents lifting of dressing edge
  • Absorbs excess moisture at the site
  • Provides a barrier to external contaminates to help prevent infection
  • Allows moisture vapor transmission away from site
  • Conforms easily to body contours
  • Gentle to delicate skin to prevent blistering reactions
  • Primary dressing

    • INDICATIONS: Central venous catheter sites, Subclavian, jugular, femoral and anticubital, Peripheral I.V. sites, Implanted ports and Midline catheters.
