added comfort far better than the doughnut. I should have bought this months ago. It is as wide as a recliner seat area so it is difficult to use in the car driver's seat.

Great for people with curved spine

Son of 88 year old.
As I said, for a person with a curved back who tends to slump when seated, the deep "U" cut into this cushion still relieves pressure on the coccyx. We use it in the wheelchair and the electric recliner. It stays in place nicely. A well designed, affordable product!

Is the Poli-Foam Coccyx Cushion angled downward in the front or is the cushion one thickness throughout?
What is material for the cushion? Read where memory foam wears out.
