A physician recommended that I wear support stockings flying frequent west coast-east coast trips to reduce the water retention and swelling of my ankles and legs. The first pair of Jobst stockings came with a prescription and trip to the pharmacy and a price tag double the one offered by Allegro Medical. I have tried other brands of support stockings but have found the best consistency of support and overall fit with Jobst. Once you get used to wearing them you will find that your legs and feet really do appreciate the extra daily support received with the resulting diminished leg and ankle swelling. I have been very happy with the service provided for all of my purchases from Allegro Medical. I really appreciate their timely messages regarding order status and very speedy shipping. I look on the Allegro web site before buying diabetic supplies, syringes, etc. because I trust them to get the right product to me in a short amount of time. Thanks!!

After the third washing it was easier to pull on and off. Lotion on the legs helped too. It really helped with the swelling and made walking and being active easier. I wore them all day, around the house, running errands, to meetings, even to church once. They really helped my legs go back to normal. Roberta

These stockings are very comfortable to wear. Once you have them on you will forget they are there. Yet they also provide the compression needed for your legs. They look like any other dress sock so there is no noticeable difference when worn with suits.
