This product was a lifesaver in terms of letting me shower almost normally rather than sit and hang my legs out so my cast does not get wet. I was nervous at first but if you pull it up a few inches above your cast(about my upper knee)it is sealed tight and waterproof. I purchased the extra-wide version thinking it was going to be small, but it was a little too wide. (Still worked great,though.) I'm 145 lbs and 5'7, but I could have used the regular version no problem at all. Just thought I'd put that out there.:)Still working great after almost 4 weeks! I also hang dry the cover after showering.

This a fabulous product. The only thing that will make it better is wearing a large heavy sock over your fiberglass cast. This will prolong your use, the fiberglass cast material is very abrasive and will wear holes in your sealtight protector very quickly. I have already purchased six, because you can't get a better price for them than at AllegroMedical.com
