It did not stop me from snoring where as the mouthpiece/retainer I use does.
IMHO, your strap should be not so stretchy (is that a word?).

Easy comfortable use

I use it for sleep apnea in keeping my mouth shut while on the CPAP. A side benefit is that it controls my snoring also.
I found the strap material to be flimsy and had to be careful not to break it while assembling it.

Not so great
Pros:
Lightweight. Easy Storage.
Cons:
Slides around on my head. Irritates my skin. Is not effective.
Best Uses:
To stop snoring. To keep mouthpiece secure.
I originally bought this to help me stop snoring. That does not work, however, when it satys in place, it helps keep the mouthguard I also bought in place. The fabric irritates my skin and neck, but when i use a cotton handkerchief, it is much better.

Cheap material broke on first night

Very expensive for the cheap quality. I could have made a more sturdy and comfortable appliance with a rubber band and a sock. This broke on the first night and did nothing more than left me with a headache from the plastic attachments digging in my temples all night. i would not recommend this product to anyone.

I bought this to use for snoring, it really helped me, but within just a few weeks of use it streched out, kept sliding off the buttons, and finally, within 3 months, became unusable.

Minimally effective

I used the product to reduce my snoring but found it to be minimally effective for that purpose. In theory, the strap should hold my jaw in a frontal position thus keeping my airway open for normal breathing. However, the rubber material appears to be too elastic to continuously retain my jaw in the correct position. At sometime during sleep my jaw will fall down and backward and then snoring will ensue. Perhaps this device would work effectively for a smaller person with a small, lite weight jaw.

When first used it was great. The tension was tight, after a few weeks the rubber and portion started to stretch which made it not as tight. I would rather use some type of srong cloth material with velco. If the material starts to stretch then you can adjust the velcro.
