Excellent

Pros:
Sturdy. Comfortable. Good Fit. Washes Well.
Best Uses:
Elderly. Home. bedridden. severe Alzheimers. DVT (blood clot in thigh).
Describe Yourself:
Caregiver.

This is the first set of compression stockings we are trying and we won't try any others because we have had excellent results. My mom has a deep vein clot in her thigh. She started getting a pinpoint rash on her lower leg. The home health nurse did not know if the clot could be causing it. The doctor had previously suggested compression stockings in general, but I had not followed threw on it. I researched online and confirmed that the rash could be a result of poor circulation from the clot. If left untreated, the rash could then turn into ulcerations. I ordered these stockings and they were here in about a day and a half. I had her wear them for one day, taking them off of her at night. The rash went almost completely away in one day! I also elevated her legs a couple of times per day for 30 minutes each time. I am amazed and thankful for this product and for Allegro's fast shipping. Disclaimer: My online research may or may not be accurate. The pinpoint rash had not broken threw the skin so the stocking was not contraindicated. Consult a physician before using compression stockings.

They have a flaw

Pros:
Lightweight. Comfortable. Good Fit. Washes Well. Good Value.
Cons:
Bad Design.
Best Uses:
Following Surgery.
Describe Yourself:
Average Health.

The stiching at the top cotton section front, the stiching is a weak spot and comes loose. It takes a great deal of effort to put these on, and we do not need the weak stiching. I am considering going back to the more expensive ones FJS
