The Thermotex Infrared Therapy System is a convenient, portable heating pad system that you can use at home, in the office, while driving or on vacation to provide effective temporary pain relief wherever and whenever you need it.

The Thermotex TTS Elbow/Hand System is perfect for those who suffer from Tennis Elbow, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, or other problems caused by injuries to the hands, wrists or elbows. The unit consists of two smaller adjustable panels utilizing 2 - 3”x 8” infrared inserts joined together for better flexibility and comfort of fit. Two elements, 120 volts 24 watts.

What Does Infrared Do?

Through the absorption of infrared thermal energy, tissues are safely and gently heated increasing blood flow within the treated area. Your body’s natural response to this increased temperature is to try to maintain a condition of homeostasis—a balanced environment or state of equilibrium throughout the body. To do this, your body responds with a rapid increase in blood flow to the area. Thermotex Heating Pads are a natural approach to effective pain relief.

Thermotex™ infrared operates at temperatures of between 40°C - 45°C, versus heating pads that are often in excess of 55°C. Our products will not burn or dehydrate the skin.

Thermography is used to measure the radiation of heat. In the following pictures you will see that the initial state of the injured area in each case is showing colder than the surrounding tissue. This is accounted for by the lack of blood flow in that injured area. As the injury is treated and the pain relieved by increasing blood flow, the temperature of the injured area returns to normal.
