The drawback to this item is that it shrink wraps the protector around my hand, compressing my wound and making it impossible to use my hand. It is too expensive and their is better products out there.

After my son both fractured and lacerated his big toe, it was imperative that his foot not get wet. This product not only delivered in terms of keeping his cast dry but it also held up under use by a very active 4 year-old little boy. It made bathing so much easier and swimming possible. It saved the summer for us.

My three year old daughter broke her arm two weeks prior to our beach vacation. The DryPro enabled her to go in the water, play in the sand and swim in the pool. She was a champ wearing it. The DryPro saved our vacation!!

We're on a 2 week vacation at the ocean. When we bought it we were very hesitant about using the protector. My son broke his elbow and has pins in the bones, so it's very important that we don't get his cast wet. But the first time we used this product it worked great. We've been using it for 10 days now and everyday it seals great and we've had no water on his cast. Thank you for making our vacation fun this year!

This thing worked flawlessly.A little tight and slightly difficult to get on and off. But it has to be, for it to function.No water cast past the elbow,so this is the next best thing.Great for showering and swimming!Put it on in 10 secs and remove it the same.I am 100% satisfied!

I bought the Dry Pro Waterproof Cast cover for my wife after she broke her leg. She was able to go into the pool, bath and even the jacuzie without getting her cast wet. My son had broke his wrist two months before and we used bags, surran wrap and even a rubber dishwashing glove. Thank god we found the Dry Pro, it's so much better and easier to use.Thanks,[@]

My daughter broke her arm in July. Since we spend our summers swimming, we were all worried about the effect this would have on her summer. This cover kept the cast dry while diving, swimming underwater and while bathing too. A great product, easy to use, heavy duty (withstanding a cast banging on poolside concrete and granite).

I just returned from a Carribbean cruise after swimming with dolphins, snorkeling and enjoying the pool daily. My cast was dry and comfortable and I was not hindered in any way. I am also a medical professional and will recommend this product to my colleagues and patients. THANKS!!!!

My 6yr old broke his arm fathers day weekend so we thought this would be the answer to all our summer plans that had be haulted. Not so the arm opening was so tight it wouldn't fit over his splint, after a couple of weeks he got a normal plaster cast and it went over it fine but the valve did not stay on so water leaked into it and it doesn't stay tight against the skin at the forearm when bending the arm.
Maybe this one was just defective but I doubt it.

11 year old daughter broke her hand.[...]After recieving the product wore it three times and it ripped.really poor prodoct..Would never recomemmend this so called cast protector to anyone.

This thing worked great! I was a bit skeptical ordering online, site unseen, but it was perfect and made the broken arm in the summer soooo much better -- also helped with independance in shower! I highly recommend it for any parent with a kiddo with broken arm!

Our seven year old daughter was able to enjoy all of her favorite water sports thanks to this cover. By necessity it was tight around the top of her arm where her cast ended, but she said it was well worth it to be able to swim and jump the waves.

I ordered the cover for my son when he broke his leg. The product would not maintain a seal. [...] We tried for an hour to get all the air out and as soon as he would move the seal would allow air in all over again. We measured properly and it seemed to fit fine until he moved. The cover is simply designed to fit like a glove so there is nothing except a tight fit to ensure no air/water enters. Good luck.

This think has kept my boy from complete meltdown. He's able to go to summer camp and swim with the kids, take easy showers, even go to the waterpark. My only complaint is that the device is far wider around the diameter of his arm and hand than it needs to be, but it hasn't slowed down his use of it.

The Dry Pro cast protector gave my daughter her summer back! My very, very active 11 year old daughter broke her femur along the growth plate at the beginning of the summer. Her leg was put in a full length leg cast which meant no swimming. Not being able to swim in the summer here in Texas is complete torture! She even went two weeks without a shower because she couldn't handle the hassle that happened when trying to keep her cast dry. Because my daughter was so miserable, I took the chance and ordered the Dry Pro without any prior knowledge of it figuring I had nothing to lose but 30 something dollars. It was the best chance I have every taken!! You could see the life coming back into my daughter's face the first time she used it. We were at a pool party and she had the best time of her life. We bought this for our son after he broke his arm, just above the elbow. Unfortunately, his cast was so big at the elbow, and the sleeve so tight at the top, we couldn't use it for a while. Keep in mind that the sleeve should only be worn for 45 minutes at a time.

This did a great job of saving my son's summer. The only problem is that it can only be used for 45 min. at a time. Looks huge but works well. We used a sock to cover the fiberglass cast so that rough edges would not make a hole.

My ten year old broke his arm the first of summer. More upset because couldn't swim. Found this product and he could swim and dive whenever he wanted. Saved our summer and made my son very happy. Thanks for the summer and we would recommend this product to anyone.

My daughter was devestated when she broke her arm 3 days before summer break. I was pleased to find a product that would allow her to swim. It is difficult to get on due to the tight fit that is needed to keep it water safe. I would reccomend it to anyone who is bummed out about having a cast for the summer.

I have been able to shower without fear of getting my cast wet. The greatest thing about it is that I did not have to cancel my family vacation to the coast, and I was able to enjoy the water with everyone else. My tan lines will be a little messed up, but it was still worth it all to be able to sit on the beach with my family and enjoy the waves and sand. Thank You Carla Marshall RN WCC

I used it on a my daughters arm when we whet to a water park. It was terrific. The only problem I had was that her arm was too skinning to make the seal, so I had to put tape on the top but it still kept the cast dry and it was much easier then wrapping it in a towel and a plastic bag.

We ordered tnis item for our daughter. She is 8 yrs old and had her arm broke at school. We have a pool and it was going to be a long summer if we didn't come up with something so she could swim. We looked on line saw this item and thought it was worth a try....It is awesome!!!! She can still swim like a fish and her cast has stayed completely dry!!! It has been a life saver.

My husband was bummed out to have a cast put on his leg just as our pool was warming up, but one 5 minute search on the internet found the Dry Pro Cast Protector. It couldn't get any easier than this! Showers & swimming are a breeze with this product. The cast is 100% dry when the protcetor is removed. I even gave the name of the product to his orthopaedic surgeon who said he was suggesting it to other patients! My husband & I thank you!

The only downside is my daughter eventually put a hole in it with her fingernail after a full week of swimming on vacation. She was very happy to be able to swim with a broken arm!!

This is a well-made, easy to use product that is a must-have for anyone with a cast. It makes bathing much easier and allows you to swim, providing valuable rehab. Sure beats a garbage bag!

Have a cast? This is what you need to swim and bathe. It looks like a blue Gumby arm.
This Dry Pro is amazing! My son had a broken arm but wanted to swim. I bought this being a little weary that it would actually work and get the cast wet but I was totally off. This kept the cast and the arm completely dry. I would recommended this product to anyone.
