OptiHaler Drug Delivery System
The OptiHaler encourages correct MDI (Metered Dose Inhaler)technique for consistent drug delivery, every time. It helps eliminate the problems patients have with timing. The unique design of this spacer limits the patient's air intake until the MDI is depressed. This coordinates actuation of the canister with the beginning of inhalation. The clear unit allows you to see how OptiHaler improves drug delivery. Very compact and portable because your MDI canister can be stored inside. OptiHaler is dishwasher safe and instructions are included. 5"L x 1 3/4"D.

This spacer requires less coordination than some, and due to it's method of action, when the canister is pushed down all the way, the end cap is dislodged....no doubt about whether the dose has been delivered... additionally, the end cap feature inherently prohibits inhaling the dose too quickly. This unit is sized right, and secure enough for your purse, duffel, or back pocket. I love it, and ordered extras to keep on hand!! Currently, the only drawback has come with the MDI units equipped with dose counters...they don't fit into the canister port.

This product is super easy to use and convienent. Stores your meds right inside the tube! My seven year old can use it easily and no longer needs to use a bulky and embarrassing face mask. The other plus ---ordering from Allegro was less expensive than purchasing thru the pharmacy. Buy one for Home, School and for Afterschool care.

The Optihaler is so convenient. It fits right in my purse and the cannister fits inside it. How convenient is that? So much better than what I was doing; not using a spacer when I was away from home.
