VORTEX™ delivers up to 73% more drug availability than plastic spacers. Clear mouthpiece allows for visual confirmation of the drug delivery into the chamber. Dishwasher safe, economical and latex-free, can be used with all brands of metered dose inhalers. 6-month warranty. Available with or without mask.

This is used by my 11 year old daughter, she loves it and finds it much easier to use than a plastic spacer. She can feel that she is getting more medication with each puff. She is actually using 1 less puff before her soccer games now.

Having decided this was a good idea ("spacers" improve MDI delivery while reducing unpleasant peripheral problems), I tried two different products. This Vortex "holding chamber" has a fairly conventional design, but uses an aluminum tube to reduce electrostatic adherence of medicine particles. Seems to do the job well, and can be washed in the dishwasher. I expect I will order a couple more, to simplify my life a bit.
