The Drew® 40822 DOUBLER Men’s Therapeutic Shoe offers proven benefits to feet in need of special care. Seamless, moldable deerskin linings protect the sensitive or insensitive foot. This shoe has double the added depth of the typical shoe, providing room for extra-thick orthotics or extreme foot conditions. A moldable, total contact Dual-Density footbed minimizes friction and cushions impact, as well as molds to the contour of the foot. It reduces foot pain caused by pressure points and excess friction by equalizing pressure over the foot’s entire surface. The DOUBLER has a wide comforting toe box that provides extra relief from painful corns, calluses, and bunions. The shoe also features an Extended Medial Heel Stabilizer for maximum rear foot stability and support. It reduces heel slippage and provides extra control of the gait cycle for overall body health and wellness. A separate Arch Cookie Support allows you to position the pad to maximize added arch support and comfort. Welt construction provides added durability and a firmer feel. A specially designed lightweight Polyurethane Rocker Outsole automatically “rocks” the foot forward during walking thus increasing mobility. A padded tongue and collar gives DOUBLER that little extra comfort touch and a more secure ankle and heel fit. Available in Black Soft Pebble and Black Deerskin colors.
