Bad Smell. Heavy. white.
Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:
Quality Oriented. Beauty Conscious. A Electrologist. Dry hands in water.. Also cracked heals.. Also cracked heals..

It's the best thing I have found for my cracked heals. My leather shoes takes the moisture out of my heals and they crack and become painful, like a deep cut. Use for my hands is an added bonus.I started using it mixed with regular moisture for my legs and arms. Not so great, is the smell and it's heavy and white. But does the job and worth it.

Answer:
Well, its not as greasy as Desitin but it is a white cream. I've had several surgeries and now need to protect my skin from irritation. If I sleep 7 or 8 hours then my skin can be exposed to irritation causing substances for a long time. I've used every commercially available skin protectant for many years and Aloe Vesta 3 is overall the best. The ointments that aren't greasy don't protect well and the ones that are have irritated me more by making it harder to clean up than Aloe Vesta. The best thing to do is try a tube and see if you prefer it over something else.

Answer:
I have used the Aloe Vesta just for travel use. On a regular basis, I use Lanticeptic. It is a white cream based on lanolin. Other ingredients include beeswax, fragrance (not much!)lanolin alcohol, mineral oil, etc... A very good product. My wife is bed ridden...total care and this product and a low air loss mattress work wonders.

Greasy, but I mix it with my evening night face cream and also my body cream. It moistureizes my extra dry skin and sinks in quickly so it's not greasy at all.

Aloe Vesta is a thick cream and seems to do a good job. The only problem I have with it, is that it is so thick that I have a hard time squeezing it from the tube with my arthritic.

I find the consistency of Aloe Vesta 3 in 1 to be more of a thin cream. Definitely not greasy at all. Use of the word "Ointment" in the name is kinda misleading.

Oh, yes, way more. I help care for my grandmother, who is 101. Her homehealth aide reccommended this ointment. It completely cleared up my grandmothers bottom. It is now the only product we use. You won't be dissapointed. It is expensive to buy at a pharmacy, MUCH cheaper online.

Answer:
Aloe Vesta 3-in-1 Skin Protectant is absolutely the BEST on the market (and believe me, I've tried most of them). Only 43% of the product is petrolatum; the other 57% is comprised of (in this order) Water, Mineral Oil, Hydroxylated Lanolin, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Ozokerite, PET-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Glycerin, Steareth-20, Magnesium Sulfate, DMDM Hydanton, Iodopropynl Butylcarbarnate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice. If it didn't have a hefty amount of petrolatum in it, it wouldn't be as effective against wetness, which it definitely IS. It doesn't stink, it feels good and stays on longer than any other. The protective ointments they use in the hospital are always too light, and once I was in a nursing home/rehab where they used one that was so obnoxious (way too thick and smelly) that I couldn't stand it. You won't be disappointed with the Aloe Vesta.
