I purchased this product for my 4 yr. old granddaughter, who is very prone to yeast infections. Because this product is an ointment, it creates a moisture barrier - which means it works longer to clear up existing fungal irritation and protects against further outbreaks, especially at night (when she may have an accident in her pull-up).
