My 18 month old daughter was born with a minor bowel issue that is treated with laxatives. The laxatives often lead to loose stool and bad diaper rashes. I use Critic Aid as a moisture barrier and treatment for the rash. It works very well and allows the skin to heal nicely. When using this product please note that it will adhere very well to the skin, and its best not to try to rub it all off at each diaper change (that will only irritate the skin more). Instead, simply clean the area of excess soil and apply more cream. The paste can be washed away in the next bath.

i use this around the site of a g tube. it is the only product i've found that protects the skin from leakage. my skin was raw but is now starting to heal. this is a wonderful product that i will continue to use.

Unconventional User

I am a very non-conventional user of this product, as I use it on a white-faced horse that is photosensitive, and suffers sever sunburn/cracked skin on her nose. This paste is the only product that helps, amongst everything for horses and humans alike. Its very thick consistency provides a nice solid cover to protect against sunlight, and its moisturizing properties help soothe the cracked, sore skin. This product is a Godsend for our little mare.
