Ilex Skin Protectant Paste is a topical Hydro Active skin barrier that seals out wetness to heal and protect severely damaged skin. Ilex is the only skin protectant that provides a 0.00cm/hr moisture penetration rate.

One of my twin daughters was born with Hirschsprung's Disease. Having her pull-through surgery at two weeks old meant that her colon wouldn't be able to absorb everything she ate like a normal persons colon would. HD babies have more acidic poop than normal babies, which left her with pretty severe (& constant) diaper rashes. We tried SO many products to help her poor butt & were finally referred to Ilex. It. Is. A. Miracle.
We use it every time we see her butt get sore & by her next changing..she's 99% better. Never in my life have I seen a product that ACTUALLY does what it says..plus more! There is ALWAYS ILEX in our home and we will continue to use it for as long as she needs it. THANK YOU ILEX!!!!

Very effective skin protectant
Pros:

Best Uses:
Daily Use.
I use Ilex to protect the skin around the hole of my daughter's gastrostomy button. Her button leaks a bit, and Ilex successfully prevents skin breakdown nearby, and also helps to prevent yeast infection by keeping the skin dry.[...]

Ilex Paste is awesome!
Best Uses:
Irritated Skin.
Daily Use.
This is the only product that works for my son after he had an ilio-anal pull thru to correct his Hirschbrung's Disease! It's like gold in a tube! We use it many times a day to protect his skin and it's the one product that has helped heal his diaper rash. Love, Love , Love this cream!

Saved our lives! My newborn infant developed several small open areas on his bottom. Regular diaper creams were not working because they would not stick to the raw skin like Ilex does. Ilex covered the area so it could heal. Make sure you have Vaseline to go with it...instructions say to cover Ilex with the vaseline to keep it from sticking to the diaper. The areas started healing in 2 days!

My 18 month old daughter has a minor bowel issue that is treated with laxatives. The laxatives often lead to loose stool and severe diaper rash. I use the Ilex overnight to protect her delicate bottom from irritation. It has worked wonders!
