What is Septi-Soft® Concentrate?
ConvaTec's Septi-Soft® Concentrate is a mild, all-over skin
cleanser that softens and conditions the skin.
Unlike antimicrobial or harsh cleansers that can contribute to
unnecessary drying, irritation, or tearing of thin, elderly or
fragile skin, Septi-Soft® leaves skin feeling soft and
supple.
Septi-Soft® Concentrate features a no-rinse dilution, making it
an ideal product for no-rinse bed bathing and shampooing. Because
Septi-Soft® is concentrated, a little bit goes a long way.
How Septi-Soft® Concentrate works
Septi-Soft® Concentrate is specially formulated to remove
odor-causing soils, with natural emollients to soften and
condition the skin and scalp. People with dry, fragile,
sensitive, or diseased skin are best cleansed with a mild
cleansing agent that does not further strip the skin of its
natural moisture. Septi-Soft® Concentrate contains essential
fatty acids (EFAs), which have been shown to improve skin
hydration.1

I use septi-soft every morning and night on my face which has been extremely dry and sensitive since I have gotten older. Despite moisturizing creams, my face would still burn. No longer! I mix up 2 tbls of it in a gallon jug and then pour this mixture into a sray bottle. I then sray on my towel just enough septi-soft to wet it and then wipe my face with it. My husband will be going through surgery soon and I can't wait to use it as a bath wash for him! This soap makes my face feel so refreshed, clean and hydrated!

I have been battling with allergic reactions to soaps, shampoos, cosmetics, and even vitamins for over 4 years. While in the hospital following surgery, I showered and washed my hair with this. It was wonderful - cleaned thoroughly, no allergic reactions, skin smooth and non-itchy, hair clean and healthy feeling. When we got home, I had my husband looking all over town for it - he found it on your website. What a godsend. I have tossed out hundreds of dollars worth of items we thought would be safe over the past 4 years, and here is something that is affordable and very effective. Thank goodness it was there at St. Joseph's hospital when I was a patient! My sister came to visit and help out some, and I had her use it - she is also going to order this from you. She said, "I don't believe how beautifully this stuff works!" She suffers from roseacea, and she has had her own share of wasted dollars trying to find products that would work and not harm her further.

I first used this product in the hospital and loved it so much I made sure my family brought all the bottles home. I use it every day becasue I feel clean with no sticky residue. I can bathe and wash my hair in one quick motion. I am down to two bottles and had to see how much it cost and if I could order more.

This product cleans and softens and is great for daily use. It does suds up quickly, though the suds do not last long. It feels good on my skin, and I really haven't found any other daily cleanser that is any more gentile.

As the caregiver for my wife, she is currently unable to get to the shower, therefore a bed baths or sponge baths are necessary. This product was introduced to us during her hospital stay. Since rinsing is not a necessity exposure to the elements is greatly reduced and this helps to prevent her getting a chill. septisoft makes her skin feel soft and clean, which is very important to how a person feels physically and emotionally. Very satisfied with this product. It is easy to use and the cleanup is a breeze.
