I began using this lotion when my son had to wear electrode patches for physical therapy. It helped his skin heal overnight, instead of the usual 3 days, so he was able to wear the patches every day. When my Dad was bedridden with cancer, and my friend's son was bedridden in a coma, it helped heal their bed sores. It has healed (at least temporarily, for months at a time) my actenic keratosis. I also use it on dogs and horses to heal callused elbows and hocks. I don't know why it works better than other Vitamin E lotions I've tried, but it does. I've used it for 14 years, and many of my friends use it also. I highly recommend it.
