I need to change the dressings on diabetic skin ulcers frequently, and I use lots of gauze wrapping because I am sensitive to most adhesive bandages, even latex-free ones. These scissors make it easy to remove old dressings, with no chance of injuring my skin or the wound as other scissors have.

I purchased these bandage scissors because I was having daily wound care dressing changes at home on my leg. The RN's did not have large bandage scissors which made the task of removing the multi layers a hard job. So I purchased an additional 15 scissors and have given all the RN's a pair as gifts. They are so happy!
