I work in rubber manufacturing. We use these to release air bubbles. These get alot of use and are subject to heats up to 350 degrees. So far I have no complaints.

My vet prescribed SubQ fluids (Lactated Ringers) for our 16 year old cat that is going through Kidney Failure. This is the perfect gage for getting the fluids to the cat without being too large that he notices when I put it in. The BD Precision Glide have always been my first choice for kitty SubQ fluids, as they are always sharp and pain free for the kitty. While living in Las Vegas our Vet who was a cat specialist recommended BD Precision Glide over other brands. I am very happy Allegro Medical offers this brand and gage via the internet as I now live in a very rural area and can not find it locally.
