Product Overview

Harmonie Disposable Underpads - TENA Regular, Blue

Harmonie TENA Regular Absorbency Disposable Underpads

Harmonie underpads for bed or chair protection are designed to cover mattresses in order to absorb leakages, reduce odors and maintain dryness. They consist of a polyethylene layer combined with sealed edges to ensure leakage protection. The highly absorbent material is evenly distributed throughout the core.

Harmonie underpads are designed for patients unable to use body worn products due to skin irritation and infection. Also used to cover mattresses in order to absorb leakages, reduce odours and maintain dryness. They consist of a polyethylene layer combined with sealed edges to ensure leakage protection. The highly absorbent material is evenly distributed throughout the core.

Harmonie underpads use 100% virgin fluff pulp, which provides far greater levels of absorption and retention than draw-sheets or wadding-filled pads.

Regular Absorbency Underpands

Unlike other incontinence products that require washing and are very expensive, these sheet protectors are completely disposable and very cost effective. Harmonie disposable underpads also offer the added benefit of a smooth side to help in patient transfer and repositioning!

Each Harmonie underpad features a quilted mat for enhanced fluid dispersion, helping to keep it from overflowing or seeping through. The interior liner of these disposable bed pads is soft to the touch, vented to keep cool, and non-irritating to the user’s skin. The outer barrier is soft and smooth, assisting you with repositioning and/or transferring your patients.

Harmonie disposable underpads are available at different levels of protection, with Economy Pads for light wetting and standard for slightly more absorbency, and deluxe for the maximum absorbency. These are economy underpads.

Good product

Pros:
Lightweight. Protective.
Best Uses:
Daily Use. Home.
Describe Yourself:
Caregiver.

I use these disposable underpads for extra protection while changing the patient's diaper. I also like to use them for G-Tube feedings, to catch any drips or spills. This is Not suitable as a protective underpad for incontinent patients for long term use. I recommend a washable underpad like the Salk Haloshield for all day or all night use. The disposable pads are useful to prevent soiling the bedding during diaper changes.

Great as peepee pads for my dogs

Pros:
Protective. Easy Storage. Sturdy.
Best Uses:
Daily Use. Home.
Describe Yourself:
Long Term User. I use them for doggy pads.

I use these pads as peepee pads for my older dogs. One of them is blind, but she knows where to go when needed. These pads are great. They don't leak (unless dog hits the edge) and are easy to put down and pick up.

Good value

Pros:
Lightweight.
Best Uses:
Wee wee pads for my dog.
Describe Yourself:
I use them for doggy pads.

Wee pads are so expensive. These work just as well for a fraction of the price.

Question:
Am finding the newer Grayson washable bed pads less flexible after washing than before...the seem to bunch up a lot with the drying process. Any thoughts?

Answer:
The question is about another product. I have bought both the disposable and the Graysons washable. The Harmonia pad is like using nothing at all, puppy pads are quilted, but the blue pads, if you shake them a little to open them, the filler moves to one side. Grayson washable- I never dry them in a dryer so they last longer, I just have a spare or two handy.

Answer:
Hi. I have never tried Kendall products and use these underpads as pads for my small 6 lb. Yorkie. They are not very absorbent and there are many areas on them with no padding at all. They are almost like irregulars. The price is right for me for the small amount of absorbency I need for my dog.

Answer:
I have not used the Kendall Durasorb so I can't compare, however I am very pleased with the Harmonies. The cotton pad is thin, but the plastic back is durable and keeps the bed dry. I use two overlapped and very seldom have a damp bed. My husband is a stroke victim.

Answer:
I don't think I have used the Kendall Durasorb but I can give you an evaluation o the Tena Regular. It is quite thin but I usually use two over a cotton pad, just to protect the bed. It is easy to work with and remove.

Answer:
No. I gave them all away to someone training a puppy. They were in no way absorbent enough to use for a patient.

I don't know how think Durasorb are but these pads are not thick at all. I was very disappointed with them. They were the size I was looking for, however, which is getting hard to find in stores.

Answer:
Surprisingly for as thin as they are they do an excellent job of absorbing and no leak thru. I like thinner pad so that air gets thru... Better for the skin....
