Nova Comet 330 Lightweight Transport Chair w/hand brakes
Travel in style with the Nova Super Lightweight Colored Comet Transport Wheelchair. The Nova Comet 330 weighs in at only 19 lbs without footrests (22 lbs including footrests), this aluminum patient transfer chair is much lighter than a standard steel wheelchair - making lifting easier for the care provider. The quick release fold-down back allows the Nova Comet to fit compactly into small areas. Comfortable padded black cloth material is re-enforced to prevent stretching and ripping. The Super Lightweight design is a great alternative to heavier wheelchairs and standard transport chairs.

This product has made taking my dad anywhere SO much easier than it was with his regular heavy wheelchair. Also, I have a slight back problem left from an auto accident, and this chair is so light and easy to maneuver that now I don't get a sore back after taking Dad places. We are enjoying this transport chair for taking mom to the mall or a long walk. It is easy to fold and I really like having hand brakes as well as wheel brakes. My only complaint is that mom is 5' tall and the arm rests are too high.

I purchased this chair to get my mother to and from doctors appointment since should could no longer walk that far. This chair has been great. Even my sister, who is not at all mechanically inclined, used it with no instruction and no problems. It is light weight and stores easily behind a seat in the car.

I love the way I can fold down the handles so it can fit into a small car trunk. It has a little larger back wheel than most lightweights, which makes it more stable and and comfortable to ride in, without making it difficult to put in the car.
