Allegiance Silicone-Elastomer Coated Foley Catheters feature a permanent silicone-elastomer coating bonded to latex for a smooth surface, helping minimize encrustation. The inert formulation protects against irritation, which allows the catheters to remain in place for a longer time period with comfort. This product does contain latex. Sterile.

Manufactured completely by Liquid Injection Molding (LIM). This high-tech one step process produces a unimolded product characterized by unequaled consistency and reliability.

18 Fr Effectiveness with 16-Fr Comfort

Pros:
Lightweight. Safe. Easy Storage. Sturdy.

Since I use a catheter nightly, I'm looking for both effectiveness and comfort. I've tried several brands--at varying costs--and have settled on the Allegiance brand. Although I've found most catheters to be effective, the Allegiance 18fr size is more comfortable to use, feeling more like a 16fr size.
