My father-in-law has dementia and a suprapubic catheter with leg bag. Caregivers (including myself) have to empty bag frequently and the flip-flo valve makes this bag less messy to empty. I also like Bard's elastic velcro leg straps better than competitor's plastic straps.

The flip- valve is so much easier to drain. With the twist valve it's difficult to twist the valve and hold the urinal. Especially for the elderly that have arthritis in their fingers.
