I bought this for low price for male self-cateterization. It is more painful than the Bard Coude Tip Tiemann Catheter. I can use it by marking the loacation of the holes and orienting them to the sides.

These work the best for me. If I use a harder cath then I end up scaring up my insides. This is just right for me to pass with ease. I self cath aprox six times a day since Nov 91. I wash in vinegar n water to reuse for aprox a month or two. Wash, dry, n ziplock baggie with a foil pack of lube. I walk so most people don't realize I have bowel n bladder probs.
