Not for me Verified Purchaser

Describe Yourself:
Caregiver.

The product was not suitable for my purpose, which was to prevent backwash in bed for a stroke victim. In fact, the backwash was worse with this urinal.

Doesn't Work Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Does not spill when fille.
Cons:
Backsplash when using.
Best Uses:
Bedridden.
Describe Yourself:
Caregiver.

This really seemed like a good idea but in reality the product does not work. It's true that there is no spillage after urine goes into container but there is major backsplashing as the urinal is being filled. Every time that it was used the patient and the bedding got extremely wet. This is probably the worst [$] that I spent.

Works great if you're sitting up Verified Reviewer

Pros:
Spillproof.
Cons:
Expensive.
Best Uses:
Whiz without the walk.
Describe Yourself:
Handicapped.

Other reviewers have reported that it doesn't work for someone who's laying down, but if you can sit up it works fine. Really is mostly spillproof. Even if you drop it, almost nothing comes out. I was surprised that it doesn't stink even though it doesn't have a cap. Clever design.
