Very pleased with my purchase Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Well Constructed. Easy To Use. Safe. Supports Weight.
Cons:
Difficult To Store.
Best Uses:
Long Distances. Outdoors.
Describe Yourself:
Caregiver.

I spent a long time considering whether to buy this rollator for my 80 year old father. I finally did it and I'm very happy with my purchase. It is very well constructed and easily converts from rollator to transport chair. It isn't as light weight and easily storable as some rollators and the seat is only slighty cushioned, but it's sure is a great product for people like my dad who want to walk as much as they can, but whose legs can give out unpredictably. I also like the large wheels that make it easier to use outdoors on bumpy surfaces. You do have to use some care when using it as a transport chair like going backwards over thresholds. I would have given it 4 1/2 stars if that had been possible.

Concept is great, product almost

Pros:
Lightweight. Well Constructed. Supports Weight. Stores Easily. Easy To Use.
Describe Yourself:
Caregiver.

Bought to use with my dad who is 91 years old and about 250 lbs. Folds nicely to fit into car trunk, especially after I discovered the releases for the hand grips. Easy for me to handle as I'm 60 myself. As a walking aid, it's great, as a transport chair needs some additional hints. If it is supposed to hold people up to 300 lbs, it could use some additional hip width to provide more comfort when sitting. Could also use a seat belt! First time out as a transport chair, we hit a crack in the sidewalk and I dumped him right out. I've since learned to go backward over door thresholds etc. Maybe it needs a caregivers/drivers manual!

Just like having your own Transformer!

Pros:
Lightweight. Well Constructed. Easy To Use.
Cons:
Difficult To Store.
Best Uses:
Indoors. Outdoors. Long Distances.
Describe Yourself:
Caregiver. Daughter.

This is a great invention. Just a quick move of the padded bar, rotate two handles, and push down the foot rest and Viola! it is a wheel chair. It takes at the most 45 seconds from one to the other. No attachments to carry. At nineteen pounds it is light enough to throw in the backseat or larger trunk. It does collapse some, but does not really become very small. I bought my Mom the bright blue. Very cool. Now she can rest with it as a walker or if we are at the mall and she gets tired, just a few moments and I can push her easily to the stores. What a deal!

This product is a life-saver (possibly in the literal sense). My 88 year old grandfather is able to walk with assistance almost all of the time, but when he needs help, he really needs to be able to sit and be pushed to his destination. He just could not understand why that was not an option with our previous walker (whose wheel snapped off, dumping my grandfather on the ground, when he tried this with a relative who disregarded the instruction manual and the many dire warnings specifically prohibiting it). Now we have a great-looking, extremely sturdy and portable walker that also doubles as a perfectly safe and comfortable transport chair when it needs to be called into service as such. This is a fantastic product and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thus far we have only used it indoors, but from the construction and the way it handles, I believe it will work just as well for short distances outdoors. Of course, there is no way I would go over large bumps or curbs or anything like that, but for getting to and from the car, this could be a great help. If you are in a situation similar to the one I have described, I think you might really benefit from the rollator/transfer chair combo. I am so glad we got one -- it is a huge relief to me, and I know that my grandfather feels a lot better knowing he has the option of riding if he doesn't feel up to walking.

Question:
Does this duet rollator also come with a seat that is 24" in height? I need a "duet rollator" for a man who is 6' 5 l/2" tall. Any suggestions where I can get one, name of brand, mfg, etc. I have to order "in network," and I am attempting to find a duet that is identical to the Nova Zoom 24, Item #4224 (but it must be duet). Thanks!
