Even it is out of your own pocket

Pros:
Easy To Use. Lightweight. Safe. Supports Weight.
Best Uses:
Outdoors. Short Distances.
Describe Yourself:
Long Term User.

I like it is combo walker and wheelchair. I can use as walker to walk and when I get tired I can have seat with me all the time. Also someone can help me when it is a wheelchair. It helps a lot while I wait for Metro Access. Also with the storage under the seat, I can keep the things that I need. It is a smart product.

Best of both worlds

Cons:
Heavy.
Best Uses:

I like this Duet rollator/transport chair by Drive, as it has characteristics of both a rollator and a transport chair, it can hold more weight than the standard lightweight rollators, and it folds down quite well. The Duet functions as a rollator, which I can use for walking on my own and sitting when the pain is too much. It also functions as a transport chair, which I can have a friend use to push me when I am in too much pain to walk. You sit in it one way when using it as a rollator and the opposite way when being pushed in it as a transport chair. The transition from rollator to transport chair is actually pretty easy. The back support easily transfers locations (with a simple push-pin lock/release). The foot support swings down when needed for the transport chair function, and up and out of the way for rollator function. (The foot support stays in place well, too.) There are additional arm supports/grab bars for use in the transport chair function that can be swung up or down, as preferred. I didn't see information on this in the instructions, but I figured out that there is a squeeze release on these arm support handles that allows them to be swung down out of the way or up and locked. Swinging these arm supports down out of the way can make it easier to get in and out of the seat when using it as a transport chair if you need extra room, as the arm supports aim in toward the seat just a little bit. Alternatively, by leaving the arm supports up, they can help those who need extra support while getting in or out of the chair. I prefer to leave them down and out of the way. The Duet is heavy-duty and can handle up to 300 pounds, if I recall, but it is also very easy to store, as it collapses down quite well, despite being a bit heavier than lightweight rollators. The extra weight does not bother me, but I could see how it might be too heavy for some users who cannot lift much weight. That is the only reason I listed it as a con. The Duet collapses down for storage by pulling a release pin on the side and picking up the handle in the seat. The pin not only keeps the Duet from folding up when in use (which is nice), but also keeps it locked in place when collapsed (which makes it easier to move in and out a vehicle, for example). Actually, I have found that if you have limited room, if you pull out the pin again after it is collapsed flat, and you move the wheels a bit so they nest, it will collapse even further than when in the

Highly recommended for travelers

Pros:
Easy To Use. Well Constructed. Supports Weight. Safe.
Cons:
Needs a lock when folded. Seat is a little slippery.
Best Uses:
Outdoors. Indoors. Short Distances. Long Distances.
Describe Yourself:
son of 88 yr old mother.

Overall great item. Would like to see the price lowered. Seat is a little slippery, needs a strap or lock when folded to avoid opening. Recommend for brake handles to lock to prevent from rolling while the user is sitting.

Question:
Does this duet rollator also come with a seat that is 24" in height? I need a "duet rollator" for a man who is 6' 5 l/2" tall. Any suggestions where I can get one, name of brand, mfg, etc. I have to order "in network," and I am attempting to find a duet that is identical to the Nova Zoom 24, Item #4224 (but it must be duet). Thanks!
