The walker platform attachment provides the ability to bear weight on the arm and relieve pressure for those with hand injuries or arthritis. Lightweight aluminum. No tools needed to attach to a walker. May be mounted on inside or outside of walker side frame. Same unit can be used on either left or right side of walker.

It is good and to the point.
Pros:

After using one of these platform walkers at physical therapy, it was important to have one at home so that my husband could get more practice on a walker. Such practice is necessary to build up endurance.

Adequately describes the product
Pros:
Supports Weight.
Lightweight.
Easy To Use.
Cons:
Hard to tighten.
Too many knobs.
Hard to grip handle.
Best Uses:
Short Distances.
Indoors.

Elderly.
User has permanently broken arm in removable cast. Finds handle difficult to grasp. External adjusting knobs protrude too far from walker -- snag on chairs, door jambs, etc. Unit does offer good arm support.
We think it's a terrific product for people with more average to good arm/shoulder/hand strength. Unfortunately, user's specialized problems make it difficult to find health products that completely meet her needs, no matter how well designed they may be.

 Can the arm extension be used on the four wheel type walkers. My husband cannot put weight on hands and wrists and needs to use his forearm to push the walker, causing problems with falling
