Mom has parkinson which causes her to race forward even with a walker. The 3 inch wheels reduce the ability to speed foward and allows her time to control the walker.

This product was replacing the original Invacare's fixed wheels & glide tips. Found the replacement wheels not of same quality. After outdoor use, did not clean & wipe as easily. Wheels before would smoothly wipe clean with a dampen cloth, but now a dampen cloth rather sticks to the replacement wheels. Thinking that the replacement wheels are made of a different material than the original. Will be interesting to watch the longevity of the replacement wheels. Thought it odd that the "glide tips" are not made available to purchase separately as they wear out the quickest. Since we were unable to replace the "glide tips" with the same like & quality 4 years ago, we improvised by using rubber tips & covered them with a plastic glider. The plastic gliders are replaced every other month.
We did find this product easy to install.
