The brakes are hard for my 94 year old mother to squeeze, and the handles wiggle a bit even after the adjustment screws are tightened.

Good rollator though closer to 10lbs. Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Stores Easily. Supports Weight. Easy To Use. Lightweight. Well Constructed. Safe.
Best Uses:
Indoors. Outdoors.
Describe Yourself:
Caregiver.

This is a good rollator that my 85 year old father can easily load and unload from his car. It weighs closer to 10 lbs rather than 8lbs but is still light enough to be readily manageable, and it definitely enhances his mobility.

Answer:
A simple pull unlocks the cross strut. It's easy enough to collapse the walker to go through a narrow doorway.
