Good walker with some problems Verified Reviewer

Unexpected breakage.

I used this walker indoors and outdoors over all sorts of terrain. It also carries groceries well. I did have some problems getting it up and down stairs which may have contributed to its demise after two and a half years of hard use. The right rear extension snapped about an inch above the wheel which I have never had happen on any walker before. Replacing the four extensions costs almost as much as a new walker so I am looking for a new walker. I liked the walker's ease of transport in cars, it's sturdiness until the extension break, the seat and back rest. It worked well on ice and uneven terrain, on and off busses, carrying bags of groceries and everything else I threw at it. I would recommend it for everything except the inability to purchase separate wheels so you cannot replace them as they become worn and have to buy extensions instead.

I bought this for my 80 year old mother who is a very unstable walker and has Alzheimers. It is better constructed than others to ensure your body is within the walker for better support.

As a serious nature photographer, I was devastated when my neuropathy made it impossible to lug equipment while safely negotiating moderate terrain. Nature photo-shoots just not possible. Okay, with this roller I can't take the rocky trails, but I can do almost everything else. I improvised saddlebags to carry all my junk, the big wheels take me safely over rough ground. AND, I can sit down any time I need to!

I wrote a review after my first rollite rollator broke an extension. I was shopping for a replacement at that time. I wanted to add that I replaced it with another rollite rollator. The new model has harder wheels that don't wear as quickly. That is a big improvement. It still is the same sturdy walker that gets me and my stuff everywhere.

I use this product whenever I go out where I have to walk or stand for a period of time. It folds and unfolds easily when I carry it in my truck or car. I am 6'3" tall and have the tall size which works really well. This walker gives me confidence to continue going to the places I have always visited prior to my illness. I frequently recieve admireing comments about this walker.I have 2 of these walkers..one for the house(clean wheels)and one for other places. I'd recommend it to anyone!!
