The Walkabout ConTour Imperial is ideal for the bariatric user, featuring a 20” wide seat and a maximum weight capacity of 250 lbs. It has the same great features as the Walkabout Lite and folds quickly and easily for storage and travel. Features include a padded seat, ergonomic hand grips, easy-to-operate hand brakes, and a contoured, padded backrest.

We replaced a previous walker (a Guardian) that had wheels break on it twice with this one which is constructed much better. My husband likes to work in the kitchen and the height is nice at the counter. Although it is very sturdy, it is still light enough weight for me to get it down stairs and into the car for him.

I only recently received my walker but it has helped so much already. Being a large woman I can not sit in the small wheelchairs provided by some stores for shopping. But walking great distances is very hard on my back and hips. With this appliance I was able to shop throughout one of those stores, resting on seat when necessary and feeling more secure than with a cane. It frees me from having to use my power chair so much, so I get more exercise. I was able to walk from the parking lot to my grandson's baseball game which was quite a long distance. I feel more capable and in charge than previously. One con, even though I am tall, 5', 8 1/2 ", and a very large women, my feet can not reach the floor when sitting in chair unless I sit on front edge. Wish it were adjustible.

this item was purchased to aid a friend with ambulation. after many years of being unable to ambulate long or short distances without difficulty this product has proven itself to literally be a "life saver". my friend is now able to get the exercise he needs and can go out places without the fear of falling. thank you so much.
