I will buy these tires again!

Pros:
Great tires. Great price.
Cons:
NONE!.

These tires are great and the price is fantastic! Usually the wheelchair repair places charge to much and you have to wait for them. But with these I placed the order and waited the very short shipping time and then had a friend put these on!

Answer:
My Father's PerMobil C300 has had replacement wheels installed which have split rims that allow replacement of the tires. This tire was too wide(2.25") for that wheel. I had to exchange them for the similar tire(allegro 214488) that is listed at 1.75" wide. They fit on his two-piece rims. I am not familiar with the type of rim that comes standard with the C300. If your wheels have hubcaps in the center, you could pop them off and look for nuts or allen-head screws that would allow you to open the wheels for tire replacement. If you have a strong friend, they can pick up one side of the chair and place a wood block under the chair to lift the wheel off the ground. If the wheel can be taken apart, I would suggest removing the tire and measuring the width of the tire at the rim to assure a good fit. I did not have to take the inside part of the two-piece rim from the chair to replace the tires.

Answer:
Correction to my first answer--- The wheels did come off the chair to replace the tires. you actually unbolt the wheel from the chair, unbolt the two rim parts, replace the tire, and rebolt to the chair.

Answer:
Dad's PerMobil C300 has had optional two-piece rims added to his chair, They do unbolt from the chair. Then the rim halves are unbolted for tire replacement, then rebolted to the chair.
