For EZ-Access Trifold & Suitcase Ramps
The Optional Top Lip Extension (TLE) "extends" the usefulness of your Advantage Series® TRIFOLD®, and Suitcase® Advantage and Signature Series ramps. These optional plates increases the standard 3" ramp lip to become 9", allowing the ramp to clear the rear bumper of SUVs and vans by simply attaching to the top lip. Sold and shipped as a pair (2 each).

Even a well equipped handicapped modified vehicle does not cover off on every situation or barrier. A few aluminum ramps will surmount just about any challenge. The one hazard I have found it that every now and then the lip on these ramps just barely reaches far enough to seat properly. Full sized vans with step bumpers and many vehicles with trailer hitches are examples of this problem.
Without these extensions, the lip of the ramp may barely reach where it should go. One slight shift of the ramp at the foot or the top, and over goes your expensive equipment and a large part of your freedom until repairs are made. Worse, it could be you that goes over, and we have enough to deal with without adding new injuries to our agendas.
These extensions solve that problem handily. They attach easily and provide a strong positive seat to the ramp. The additional weight is very little. The safely gain is great. Even if you feel you have a good positive seat for your ramp, adding these extensions will significantly enhance your safety and security as you or your equipment go up or down your ramp.
This is a great value. Highly recommended for anyone who uses longer ramps even occassionally.

Easy access over our patio door threshold is achieved with this optional Top Lip Extension (TLE) installed on our 5 foot suitcase ramp. For our ramp length and threshold height, the TLE angle is not well suited and, unnecessarily, increases the ramp angle.
