The easy-to-install Silver Star™ Caddy wheelchair carrier from Pride® makes transporting your manual wheelchair or transport chair simple and inexpensive. You no longer need to lift and place wheelchair into vehicle trunk or back seat. Like all Silver Star products, the Caddy features an all-steel frame and quality construction. Simply bolts to any Class I hitch ball mount in the place of ball. Mounting plate can't exceed 2" width - some Class II or larger receivers will require an optional reduced ball mounting plate accessory.

To load wheelchair, simply tilt wheelchair back and position front caster wheels into Caddy wheel cup, then lift wheelchair by the handles and place into handle hook and you are ready to go. Reverse operation to remove wheelchair. NOTE: it is advisable to always place a safety strap around chair and carrier when transporting.

The Caddy handle mast and caster wheel cup can be easily and quickly removed leaving just the "T" base when not in use.
