The Medline Excel 2000 Wheelchair carbon steel frame has chip-resistant chrome platin and powder-coated cross bars and clothing guard. Heavy-duty fork and welded fork stems minimize wobbling. Sealed bearings in fork housing, rear wheels and front wheels keep dirt out and are maintenance free, adding durability. Mag-style composite wheels are extremely durable and easy to clean. Elevating footrests feature a notches, stainless steel ratchet bar to lock the legrests securely into place. Swing-away elevating legrest models feature padded calf pads. Threaded seat screw inserts reduce stripping from upholstery changes. Tough, embossed upholstery comes in Black.
