PolyFly High Strength Lightweight Wheelchair/Transport Chair is a self propelled wheelchair that easily converts to a transport chair. High strength and light weight. Can be used as standard self propelled wheelchair or a transport chair all in one. Quick release 24" wheels can be removed to transition self propelled chair to a transport chair. Comes with two sets of brakes: One for use with wheelchair, one for use with transport chair. All aluminum frame comes with a fold down back and nylon upholstery. Comes standard with swing away foot rests with composite foot plates and heel loops. 8" casters on the front/back and comes with anti-tippers.

I am a newish wheelchair user due to post-polio. I got this chair to give myself a way to go somewhere by myself in my old Toyota. I can take apart the components of the chair and put them in the passenger seat and reassemble the chair at my destination, all while sitting in the driver's seat. The chair is well designed and has a smooth ride. I only opt for shorter self-propelled trips, but it's great to have the option available. I am not as strong as I used to be, but this chair is light and workable, not to mention the excellent price. Thanks Allegro Medical!

How much does the poly fly wheelchair/transport chair combo weigh when the large wheels are removed? I see that it weighs 34 lbs all together.
